Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drone systems rely heavily on reliable radio communication, navigation electronics and complex, integrated electronic systems. Proper testing of these systems is essential to ensure stable operation, safe flight performance and reliable communication between the drone and ground control systems.
LEITC provides specialized testing services for drone and UAV platforms. Our laboratory supports developers and manufacturers by evaluating electromagnetic compatibility, RF performance and antenna characteristics of UAV systems.
Testing UAV platforms presents unique challenges because antennas and communication systems are often integrated directly into the drone structure. This integration can significantly influence antenna performance, signal coverage, and system reliability. Our measurement capabilities enable testing of antennas and communication systems both as standalone components and as integrated parts of the complete UAV platform.
